―清純― 田村さんの作品をはじめて目にした時、その言葉が心に浮かんだ。若い女性の髪の毛が作品のモチーフになっていたから、だけでは無く、何ものにも汚されない清らかさ、透明なみずみずしさが作品に溢れていた。
今回、田村さんは雪を描いた。確かに田村さんにふさわしいテーマだけれど、愛知県出身の田村さんは新潟の雪をどう受け止めていたのだろう。まだまだ暑い新潟絵屋に田村さんが雪を降らせる。（企画者：田代早苗）
Purity― When I first saw Kenichi Tamura’s work, that word came to mind. It wasn’t just because the motif of the work was a young woman’s hair, but because the work was full of a pureness and transparent freshness that had not been tainted by anything.
This time, he painted snow. While it is certainly a fitting theme for him, how did he perceive the snow of Niigata, being from Aichi Prefecture? In the still-hot Niigata Eya, Tamura will bring snow. (Exhibition Planner: Sanae Tashiro)

田村憲一（たむら けんいち）
1982年愛知県生まれ。2004年名古屋芸術大学美術学部日本画コース卒業。2007年筑波大学修士課程芸術研究科修了。 2011～24年十一月画廊（銀座）、2015～25年 ハートフィールドギャラリー（名古屋）、2018～25年新潟絵屋で個展。新潟市在住。
Kenichi Tamura
Born in Aichi Prefecture in 1982. Graduated from Nagoya University of the Arts, Department of the Arts, Japanese Painting Course in 2004. Completed a Master’s degree at Tsukuba University’s Graduate School of Arts in 2007. He held solo exhibitions at Gallery Ju-ichi gatsu (Tokyo) from 2011 to 2024, HERAT FIELD GALLERY (Nagoya) from 2015 to 2025, and Niigata Eya from 2018 to 2025. Lives in Niigata City.
