幾枚もの版を駆使しながら、色を重ね、そっと筆から命を吹き込んでいくかのようだ。ボタニカルという自然が生み出すアートを、独自の技法で自分の世界に落とし込む。微かな絵の具の粒子が重なり合い生み出されるグラデーションは、とても繊細で美しい。そして色の重なりは、鮮やかな輪郭を導き、花や果実は、よりみずみずしく立体感を帯びてくる。その色彩は、柔らかく豊かで、優しさを与えてくれる。小島さんの作品を見ていると、穏やかな風に包まれているかの心地になり、癒されるのだ。
身近な草花をはじめ、近年はフェアトレードにも関心を持ち、バナナの繊維からできた紙を用いた作品や、アフリカローズを描いた作品も興味深い。 （企画者：川上 浩美）
Using several patterns, it seems Ms. Kojima is layering colors and gently breathing life into them with her brush. She incorporates the art of botanicals, a beauty created by nature, into her own world with her unique technique. The gradation created by the delicate overlapping particles veils of paint is very delicate and beautiful.
Overlapping colors lead to vivid outlines, and the flowers and fruits become more lush and three-dimensional. The colors are soft and rich, and give a sense of tenderness. Looking at Ms. Kojima’s works, I feel as if I am surrounded by a gentle breeze, which is soothing.
In addition to familiar flowers and plants, she has recently taken an interest in the spirit of fair trade, so her works are made using paper made from banana fiber, and her paintings of African roses are also novel. (Exhibition Planner: Hiromi Kawakami)

小島典子（こじま のりこ）
東京生まれ。ペインティングアーティスト、トロンプロイユ/フォーフィニッシュペインター、カラーリスト、日本色彩学正会員、（学）織田学園 色彩・美学・デッサン講師。独自の技法「クレモラート」による絵本、テキスト、ボタニカルアート、文具等のデザイン制作。（株）クローバー ステンシルプレートデザイン、日本ペイント（株）「DISNEY©カラーハーモニー」総括プロヂューサーを経て、デパート、施設等のカラーコーディネート、ディスプレイ、ロゴマーク、サインボードを手掛ける。壁面のステンシル・クレモラート®施工は国内のほか、イタリア、アメリカを含め100件を超える。銀座、青山、代官山、自由が丘、田園調布などで個展開催。全米ステンシル協会誌において日本人で初めて表紙を飾り、その後も多数作品掲載されペイント誌のほか「VERY」「STORY」「美しい部屋」「すてきレシピ」などにも掲載。著書に、絵本「仔馬のカプチーノ」（日本図書協会認定図書）、色彩本「いろらぼBook」などがある。www.cremolato.jp
Noriko Kojima
Born in Tokyo.She has designed and produced picture books, texts, botanical art, stationery, etc., using her unique “Cremolato” technique, as well as color coordination, displays, logos, and signboards for department stores and other facilities. The wall stencil and cremolate installation has been proven in Italy and the U.S.A. She was the first Japanese artist to be featured on the cover of the National Stencil Association magazine, and her work has been featured in numerous painting and fashion magazines in Japan. Her books include the picture book Kouma no Cappuccino (Japan Library Association certified book) and the color book Irolabo Book and others.

NEWS
スウェーデンで毎年開催されている自主運営ギャラリーの交流の場「スーパーマーケットアートフェア」に出展します。今回のテーマ「Passion」をヒントに、新潟絵屋のブースでは、片仮名の「イ」一文字をモチーフに、人間の多様な姿や形を特異な造形に表現してきた佐佐木實さんを紹介することにしました。3月27日に、新潟絵屋代表大倉宏と佐佐木さんが羽田空港を発ち、約2.0×3.5mのブースに展示設営をしてきます。会場では、スウェーデンやほかの国々のアーティストとも積極的に交流してきます。
会期終了後は、ストックホルムのギャラリーやカルチャーセンターなども訪問し、現地の美術の状況もリサーチしてきます。今後の活動の参考になることが数多くあることと思います。この体験をみなさまとも共有できるよう、帰国後に大倉からご報告します。

佐佐木實（ささき みのる）
美術家。盛岡市生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程藝術学専攻修了（美学）。フランス国立社会科学高等研究院博士課程言語学専攻修了。博士（言語学）。二十代半ばに渡欧、特にフランスではことばをしるすことについて実践的にも学術的にも探究することで制作と思索を深めた。2006年帰国。近年の個展は、17年Cyg art gallery「イは人の象徴であるかもしれない」（盛岡）、21年G&S根雨「たましいのいろか」（豊中）、23年OGU MAG「イ充つ+」（東京）、23年Gallery KTO「イ充つ」（東京）、24年L’arte「イ場所」（東京）等。新潟では11年に砂丘館、新潟絵屋、北書店画廊で、14・15・17・22年新潟絵屋で個展。2024年は砂丘館と新潟絵屋と2会場で同時開催の展覧会を開催しました。

Minoru Sasaki
Artist. Born in Morioka City. M.F.A. in Aesthetics, Tokyo University of the Arts. Ph.D. in Science of Language from École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) (Paris, France). From his mid-twenties, he settled in Europe, particularly France, where he deepened his artistic approaches and thoughts about how we humans notate and communicate with the linguistic signs through both practical and academic explorations. He returned to Japan in 2006. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘イ can possibly be representative of human beings’ at Cyg art gallery (Morioka) in 2017, ‘Fragrance of Soul’ at G&S Neu (Toyonaka) in 2021, ‘imitsu +’ at OGU MAG (Tokyo) in 2023, ‘imitsu’ at Gallery KTO (Tokyo) in 2023, and ‘i Place’ at L’arte (Tokyo) in 2024, Et al. in Niigata; he had solo exhibitions at Sakyukan, NIIGATA EYA, and Kitashoten Gallery in 2011, and at NIIGATA EYA in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2022.

SUPERMARKET – Stockholm Independent Art Fairとは？
ギャラリー等の形態を問わず、アーティストが自主的に運営する活動に携わる人たちのための国際アートフェアで、商業的なアートフェアに対抗して、2007年から毎年ストックホルムで開催されています。さまざまな国の参加者によるブース展示のほか、パフォーマンスやディスカッション、フォーラムなど、参加者のネットワーク構築のためのさまざまなプログラムが用意されています。アートフェアのディレクターもみなアーティストで、それぞれに作家活動を行いながらアートフェアを主宰しています。
今年は、ストックホルム郊外の地下鉄Skärholmen駅近くのcoopが入る大きな複合商業施設Skärholmsplan 1の地下が会場です。今回も、さまざまな国から数多くのアーティスト、キュレイター等が参加予定です。

ジャン＝リュック・ゴダールの映画「気狂いピエロ」のラスト、明るい地中海の映像に「何が見える？」「永遠が見える」というランボーの詩から採られた台詞が流れる。
海と空の色が全く違うのに、西村満の作品が脳裏に浮かんだ。
早トチリな者は彼の作品を見て、孤独な人生を送ったと思うかも知れない。しかし彼ほど周囲の愛に恵まれた人生は無いのではないか。愛という土台を踏みしめてこそ、彼は永遠へと広がる風景を描き続けたのだ。
今、彼はそこで絵を描き続けているのだろう。（企画者：田代早苗）
At the end of Jean-Luc Godard’s film “The Crazy Clown,” the bright Mediterranean Sea is shown with the line, “What (do you see)?” The line taken from Rimbaud’s poem, “(I see) eternity,” plays in the background.
The colors of the sea and the sky were completely different, but Mitsuru Nishimura’s work came to my mind. People who jump to conclusions may look at his works and think that he lived a solitary life. However, there is no life more blessed with the love of those around him than his. Only by stepping on the foundation of love did he continue to paint landscapes that spread out into eternity.
I suppose that he continues to paint there now. (Exhibition Planner: Sanae Tashiro)
西村 満（にしむら みつる）
1935年新潟県中魚沼郡貝野村（現十日町市）生まれ。58年新潟大学教育学部美術科卒業、新潟市中学校美術教師となる。67年日展初入選。68年光風会展初入選。78、80、85年安井賞展入選。89年「新潟の絵画100年」、97年「にいがたアートナウ1997」（新潟市美術館）、2004、06年「新潟の作家100人」、09年「記憶のかたち」（新潟県立万代島美術館）、15年「砂丘展」（新潟大学旭町学術資料展示館）出品。1979～2016年、新潟大和、紗衣、羊画廊、ギャラリーあらき、新潟絵屋などで個展開催。23年「没後1年 西村満展―北のまなざし―」（新潟市北区郷土博物館）開催。

Mitsuru Nishimura
Born in 1935 in Kaino Village, Naka-uonuma County (currently Tokamachi City), Niigata Prefecture. In 1958, he graduated from Niigata University, Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts, and became an art teacher at a junior high school in Niigata City. First selected for the 1967 Nitten Exhibition, and selected for the first time for the 1968 Kofukai Exhibition. Selected for the Yasui Prize Exhibition in 1978, 1980, and 1985; exhibited in “Niigata no Kaiga 100 Nen” in 1989, “Niigata Art Now 1997” (Niigata City Art Museum), “Niigata no Sakka 100 Nin” in 2004 and 2006, “Kioku no Katachi” (Niigata Bandaijima Art Museum) in 2009, and “Sakyu-ten” (Niigata University Asahimachi Academic Museum of Art) in 2015. From 1979 to 2016, held solo exhibitions at Niigata Daiwa, Sai, Hitsuji Gallery, Gallery Araki, Niigata Eya, etc. In 2023, held “Botsugo 1 Nen: Mitsuru Nishimura Exhibition – Kita no Manazashi -” at Niigata City Kita Ward Historical Museum.
