　少し前の作だけどしんぞうの花火の絵が、いい。夜空にどかんと上がるのではない、シュルシュル、チロチロと手元で光る花火。人は、私は暗がりの中にいる。人から、世界から、へだてられて。 一瞬手花火が灯ると、その明かりと音の分だけそこが照らされる。その一瞬の、光と音という、はかないけれど信じられる支えがなぜか実感されてくる。 絵の部分に、細部に目をちかづけると形容しがたい色や、筆跡や、絵の具の盛り上りや盛り下がりにも、同じチロチロ、シュルシュルが鳴っている。 へだてられながら、そこにいる人の存在に心が明るみ、慰められる。（企画者：大倉 宏）

　Sinzow’s fireworks picture is good, even though it was made a while ago. The fireworks do not shoot up into the night sky with a bang, but instead sparkle and twinkle in your hand – syulu-syulu, chilo-chilo. People, I am in the darkness. I am separated from others and from the world. When the fireworks that are being held light up for a a few moments the area is illuminated by its bright light and crackling sound. For some reason, the fleeting but believable support of light and sound in that moment becomes real to me. If you look closely at the details of the painting, you can hear the same sounds of flickering and sparking – syulu-syulu, chilo-chilo in the indescribable colors, brushstrokes, and rise and fall of the paint. While separated, my heart is lightened and comforted by the presence of those who are there. (Exhibition Planner: Hiroshi Okura)

しんぞう
1974年横浜市生まれ。武蔵野美術大学油絵科卒業。個展は、新宿眼科画廊（東京）、DAMギャラリー（韓国）、福住画廊（大阪）、ギャラリーsfera （京都）、2012年砂丘館 「あなたの心の裏の河」（新潟市）、13～16・18・21・23年新潟絵屋など。2009年 「大地の芸術祭」に出品。芸術道場GP（グランプリ）銀賞、第29回損保ジャパン美術財団選抜奨励展入選、第44回神奈川美術展入選など受賞。装画に 「臨床の詩学」（春日武彦・著／医学書院）がある。新潟市在住。www.sinzow.com

Sinzow
Born in Yokohama in 1974. Graduated from Musashino Art University,Department of Oil Painting. S olo exhibitions include Shinjuku Ganka Gallery (Tokyo), DAM Gallery (Korea), Fukuzumi Gallery (Osaka), Gallery sfera (Kyoto), “Anata no Kokoro no Ura no Kawa” at Sakyukan (Niigata City) in 2012, and Niigata Eya in 2013 to 2016, 2018, 2021, and 2023. In 2009, exhibited at the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial. Awards received include the Art Dojo GP (Grand Prix) Silver Prize, the 29th Sompo Japan Art Foundation Selected Encouragement Exhibition, and the 44th Kanagawa Art Exhibition. Her painting is featured as a cover of the book Rinshou no Shigaku (written by Takehiko Kasuga, Igaku Shoin). Lives and works in Niigata City.www.sinzow.com

　東京のガラス張りの美容室での｢イ場所｣展に行くと、鏡の脇や時計の下などに掛けられたいろいろなイが、なごやかで活気ある店の空気のなかでほほえんでいた。 幾度かのメールのやりとりのあと、初めて佐佐木に会ったときも真剣で真面目に語る人が、ほほえんでいるように思えた。 佐佐木實は本質的にそして根元的にほほえみの人だと思う。 ｢イ充つ｣やそれに先行した｢ヒ象る｣など近年の作でさらに際立ってきた過激、頑強、執拗は、笑みを初めて浮かべた子がそれを凍らせようとするあらゆるものにかざし、放つ楯、矢であるのかもしれない。 ほほえみの天使は戦士なのだ。（企画者：大倉 宏）

When I visited the “‘i (イ)Place” exhibition at a glass-walled beauty salon in Tokyo, the various “i (イ)”s hanging by the mirror and under the clock were smiling in the friendly and lively atmosphere of the place. When I met Sasaki for the first time after exchanging several E-mails, he seemed to me to be a serious and earnest, but smiling person. Minoru Sasaki is essentially and fundamentally a smiling person. The radicalism, stubbornness, and persistence that have become even more prominent in recent works, such as “i (イ)mitsu ” (i (イ) Fulfilling) and the preceding “hi(ヒ)katadoru” (Forced into “hi(ヒ)”), may be his shield or arrow; the child who smiles for the first time holds up to everything that tries to freeze it and shoots it out. 佐佐木實（ささき　みのる）
美術家。盛岡市生まれ。東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科修士課程藝術学専攻修了（美学）。フランス国立社会科学高等研究院博士課程言語学専攻修了。博士（言語学）。二十代半ばに渡欧、特にフランスではことばをしるすことについて実践的にも学術的にも探究することで制作と思索を深めた。2006年帰国。近年の個展は、17年Cyg art gallery「イは人の象徴であるかもしれない」（盛岡）、21年G&S根雨「たましいのいろか」（豊中）、23年OGU MAG「イ充つ+」（東京）、23年Gallery KTO「イ充つ」（東京）、24年L’arte「イ場所」（東京）等。新潟では11年に砂丘館、新潟絵屋、北書店画廊で、14・15・17・22年新潟絵屋で個展。

Minoru Sasaki
Artist. Born in Morioka City. M.F.A. in Aesthetics, Tokyo University of the Arts. Ph.D. in Science of Language from École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) (Paris, France). From his mid-twenties, he settled in Europe, particularly France, where he deepened his artistic approaches and thoughts about how we humans notate and communicate with the linguistic signs through both practical and academic explorations. He returned to Japan in 2006. Recent solo exhibitions include ‘イ can possibly be representative of human beings’ at Cyg art gallery (Morioka) in 2017, ‘Fragrance of Soul’ at G&S Neu (Toyonaka) in 2021, ‘imitsu +’ at OGU MAG (Tokyo) in 2023, ‘imitsu’ at Gallery KTO (Tokyo) in 2023, and ‘i Place’ at L’arte (Tokyo) in 2024, Et al. in Niigata; he had solo exhibitions at Sakyukan, NIIGATA EYA, and Kitashoten Gallery in 2011, and at NIIGATA EYA in 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2022.

個展のたびに大人気の長尾玲子さんの刺繍絵を、展示室隣接のショップコーナーでご紹介します。

長尾玲子（ながお れいこ）
1963年東京都生まれ。専門学校東京YMCAデザイン研究所デザイン科卒業。デンマークSKALS手工芸学校終了。オーストラリアNMITイラストレーション科卒業。Diploma取得。絵本に『クリスマス・イブのおはなし』セット全3冊、『サンタさんありがとう』『サンタさんとこいぬ』、『ざっそうの名前』、『ぼくの草のなまえ』、『サンタさん』（福音館書店）がある。個展多数。新潟絵屋では2008年「12ケ月のサンプラー」、09年「私的花言葉」、11年「市場のスケッチ」、13年「サンタ展」、21年「クリスマス」開催。昨年よりこの時期にショップでミニ展示を開催。2010年より新潟市在住。
